ROUNDs 8 & 9 VIDEO (S01 E08)

Intro:

Another Euroleague round is in the books and it had many surprise results and performances, both positive and negative.  In R4 the RHH Outsiders scored a very mediocre 132.3 fantasy points, increasing our budget by 0.7 CR thanks to our lower budget choices! So ahead of another double round week and before the first wildcard of the season careful planning is in order.

While we will continue to try and increase our budget we do need to significantly increase our scoring. Round 5 games are scheduled in a 7-3 split between turns and Round 6 in a 4-6 split!

For more suggestions have a look at our RHH Podcast and our weekly fantasy episode where we discuss options, strategy and alternatives before tip-off.

***** FINAL line-up will be posted on X before tip off *****

🏆 Round 7 winner: Refugee BC

👤 Manager: Stratos Chiotis

FPT: 218.8

🏆 League Leader: Blossom

👤 Manager: Napoleon Barkis

FPT: 1,224.35

Head coach:

Selecting coach Z. Obradovic (11.1 CR) paid us 10 fantasy points, which is less than the expected based on the opponent. For round 8 we will probably keep him but we do have others......

Anchor player:

Τhe RHH Outsiders relied on the PIR king Sasha Vezenkov (18,4 CR) until R6 and our decision to move away from him in R7 did not pay off so we are probably looking to bring him back in.

Centers:

Same goes for Jonas Valanciunas who did not impress given his value and we are bringing in Mfiondu Kambengele (15 CR) who is starting to perform at a much higher level. We are keeping the excellent so far Aliou Diarra (9.3 CR) who is having an impressive start to the season.

***** IMPORTANT: NEVER use your second center as the 6th man when BOTH centers play in T1!!! In case of a bad game by your main center you will be unable to move one of them to the bench and you will have to keep that bad score! *****

Forwards:

As we’re stepping away from Sasha Vezhenkov, hopefully for a little while, we’re bringing in the surprise of the season, Mbaye Ndiaye (9.6 CR). Alongside him is Colin Malcolm (8.7 CR), an emerging forward with an increased role and more minutes. Rounding out the forward spots, Arjan Lakic (4 CR) comes in as our filler pick, along with Eleftherios Mantzoukas (4.9 CR), who should be seeing more minutes in Panathinaikos’ rotation.

Guards:

Our two locks come from Real Madrid in the excellent duo of Theo Maledon (12.3 CR) and Andres Feliz (8.2 CR)! To round up our backcourt we will take some risk -given Nadir Hifi's uncertain status- and bring in Tyson Etienne (11.3 CR) who is giving some great output atm!

These fantasy picks are for entertainment only. No crystal balls, no insider info—just our best guesses. Sometimes we’ll look like geniuses; other times, like we drafted blindfolded. Trust your own instincts, play for fun, laugh at the misses, and celebrate the wins!
