Playoffs time

     One month after the last Eurocup Round, we return to action with the first knockout games. The four playoff games of this stage will all take place on the same day. As a result, our usual strategy of maintaining flexibility between different Turns within the same Round is no longer applicable. After steadily increasing our budget throughout the season, we now have the ability to select many of the top-performing players of this year’s tournament.

Starting with the coach position, we selected Zvezdan MITROVIC (8.4 CR), as we believe that Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana is the clear favorite against Niners.

We will use the 2-2-1 formation, with the 6th player being a Guard:

• Devante JONES (16.8 CR), one of the superstars of the competition and the main offensive leader for Trento.

• Umoja GIBSON (12.7 CR), a player we have trusted throughout the season.

• Matthew HURT (10.6 CR), who recently joined Cedevita and plays around 25 minutes per game. We hope he can take advantage of the German team’s weak defensive performances.

• Mitchell CREEK (16.0 CR), currently the most productive Forward in the Eurocup.

• Kevin YEBO (15.2 CR), one of the most consistent Centers throughout the tournament.

• Yogi FERRELL (15.5 CR), a true scoring machine who is expected to carry much of his team’s offensive responsibility.

On the bench, we selected Nikola TANASKOVIC (11.3 CR), as Cluj-Napoca has struggled defensively against opposing Centers. Uros TRIFUNOVIC (8.3 CR) is included in the hope that he can deliver a notable performance. The remaining two spots are filled by minimum-budget players who still receive some playing time: Djordjije JOVANOVIC (4.0 CR) and Max GASPA (4.0 CR).

The captain of our team will be JONES.
