Round 21 - Semi finals

     Round 20 proved to be somewhat mediocre for our team, although we still reached a new season high in the global standings, climbing to position 173. The limited number of available choices forces most fantasy players to select very similar rosters, making it difficult to avoid common pitfalls. Things become even tighter in the semifinals, where both games take place on the same day.

Starting with the coach position, we decided to trust Dusan ALIMPIJEVIC (10.0 CR). In the only meeting between the two teams this season, Besiktas defeated Bahcesehir away in the Turkish league. However, that game took place more than three months ago, and many things have changed since then. Still, we consider this the safest option, as Besiktas appears to be the most consistent and solid team at this stage.

Regarding player selection, we chose to focus on the most expensive and reliable options, while also following two key principles:

1. Avoid Centers from Turk Telekom, as there are multiple options and it is difficult to predict who will dominate in a given game

2. Invest in Besiktas Guards, since Bahcesehir seems vulnerable in that position

Based on this approach, our selected players are:

• Guards: Malachi FLYNN (15.5 CR), Kyle ALLMAN (12.5 CR), Devon DOTSON (11.9 CR), and Will MCDOWELL-WHITE (9.8 CR)

• Forwards: GACH (11.8 CR), Tyler CAVANAUGH (13.2 CR), Jordan USHER (9.2 CR), and Tre MITCHELL (7.8 CR)

• Centers: Ante ZIZIC (16.2 CR) and Furkan HALTALI (4.0 CR)

ZIZIC will be our captain, as he remains the most consistent option and we expect a performance close to 20 points. The semifinals leave very little room for differentiation. Consistency and safe choices become more important than risky plays. Hopefully, this first round of semifinals will show which players will be the protagonists of these series, and our team will adapt in the second Round.
