Not an exciting round 2 last time around, but our team seem to be more rational. Low performances of HARPER and LOUTZIS affected our final scoring, but nothing can be compared to the experience of seeing MORRIS score between -10 and -8 for more than 25’..... On the other hand, our coach was excellent giving us the maximum and two out of three new players increased their value, while the potential of each player in our team becomes clearer . I would risk to say that after 2 rounds, the team will be in position to claim a high performance after the disastrous start.
We will start the planning of this week from the coach. There is no need for a change here: Dusan ALIMPIJEVIC (9,1 CR) will remain our coach and we hope for another 25 points. Besiktas look so much stronger than Niners. We will keep the 4 substitutions for correcting our player roster.
No question from where we will start our substitutions: we will remove Jamel MORRIS (7.2 CR). Although he is playing for so many minutes and possible in the future can give a significant amount of points, he currently seems not that consistent and we can not afford having a similar performance. Another substitution will be Carl WHEATLE (6.2 CR) as he has a supplementary role in his team. In order to have budget for our moves, we will replace Ante ZIZIC (11.3 CR) and Nelson WEIDEMANN (6.9 CR). Both of them had excellent games and increased their value so its a good opportunity to use this profit for our correction moves. Moreover, it seems that ZIZIC is sharing his position with KAMAGATE so maybe he will not have such a dominant performance in the future. WEIDEMANN is a decent player, especially for his budget but there is another player from his team that has attracted our attention and has more potential.
The first newcomer will be Malachi FLYNN (13.8 CR). Even though his price is high, his performances are way above it. It was an absolute joy to watch his game the previous Round. He will also be the captain of our team for Turn 1, while we have HARPER as alternative in Turn 2. The second player that will join our team is Tobias JENSEN (6.4 CR). He is clearly undervalued while he is playing for approximately 25’ with scores more than 15 points in each of his games. Then, an old friend will join us: Berkan DURMAZ (5.8 CR) is for a second year a “value for money” move as he is extremely cheap comparing to his role in his team. Finally, for a second center we selected Benedikt TURUDIC (4 CR) as we did not have much more budget and we wanted to avoid selecting someone that could lose some of his value.
We decided to keep LOUTZIS and WATERMAN hoping that they will increase their value after the disappointing performances, and we will be able to release them in the next round.
A lot of other players gained our attention but in the end we did not recruit them: Kevin KOKILA (8.3 CR) and Nathan MENSAH (9.3 CR) are two centers that we were looking at. Some additional names are from the forward spot, Jakub NIZIOL (8.2 CR) -whenever he is playing a home game- and from the guard spot Arnas VELICKA (11.8 CR).
