The way back

      Our team continues to perform slightly better than in the previous rounds, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. No time to look back though, so we dive directly into the planning for this round:

First of all, after two successful rounds and 35 points, we are going to switch our coach. Dusan ALIMPIJEVIC has completed his mission and we are now looking for a coach who will secure points and also increase his value. In order to save some budget, we selected Gediminas PETRAUSKAS (4.5 CR) from Neptunas. Neptunas is playing a home game against Hamburg, which is one of the matches they definitely have to win. Other interesting options are available this round, such as Andrejs ZAKELJ (7.2 CR), but we preferred to go with the cheapest one to invest the budget in other positions.

Then, we decided to change LOUTZIS, as Panionios is currently searching for a new coach and the team is not in good shape. He proved to be a wrong addition to our squad, and we won’t risk keeping him. In his place, we will bring Khadeen CARRINGTON (10 CR), who is playing more than 20 minutes for Hapoel and is highly involved in the team’s offensive game. Furthermore, Hapoel has the next two games at home, where they will seek two wins. Also, Slask Wroclaw has some issues in restricting opposing guards, so we hope for a strong duo of CARRINGTON (10 CR) and HARPER (16 CR).

We also switched two forwards: RADOVIC, as he is not contributing anything to our team, and HARRELL, as his teammate KULBOKA has returned to action. HARRELL remains a vital member of Aris, but he is not taking many shots, which limits his PIR performance. In their place, we will acquire Yordan MINCHEV (10.3 CR), who has delivered solid performances in the first three rounds and is playing almost 30 minutes per game, and Both GACH (8.8 CR) because he is underrated while his opponent has severe issues defending the forward position. Plus, he plays sufficient minutes and had an excellent performance when playing at home.

We kept the balance of our team, having 5 players for each Turn, two super-star players (HARPER and FLYNN) playing in different Turns to use them as captains, and high hopes that we will increase our budget while achieving more than 150 points this Round.
