Overview
After a complete disaster in the last round of the regular season, we're now preparing for the playoffs of this year's EuroCup tournament. It's true that if we hadn't changed our team, we would have accumulated 80 more points, but that's the beauty of fantasy basketball – even when we're experiencing poor results. One game is played in the first turn, and the other three in the second. Our strategy is to have strong options from both turns that could serve as captains, minimize the risk at the center position by selecting one center for each turn, and take some risky bets in the first turn that can be easily replaced if they don’t perform well.
So here we go:
Coach Pick:
For the coach position, we'll select the one we believe carries the least risk. Therefore, Jaka Lacovic (7.9 CR) will be our choice, as we expect the Spanish team to beat Venezia. The other options seem too risky: we don't believe an away team can easily win, and we don’t want to go against Besiktas, a team that had an impressive run last year. The Wolves are unpredictable, and Turk Telekom will face Buducnost, who finished with a solid record.
Player Picks:
Starting with the center position, we'll select Marek Blazevic (10.1 CR), who finished strong and plays for the home team (Wolves). We hope his coach gives him more playing time. As our second center, we’ll choose one of the MVP candidates of the season: Mfiondou Kabengele (18.2 CR). For the first turn captain, we’ll select Zavier Simpson (16.9 CR), who is leading his team, and we’re hoping for a big scoring night against the Wolves. We’ll also add Anthony Cowan (15.2 CR), one of the offensive weapons for his team, as UB-T Cluj Napoca has the weakest defense against guards of all the teams in this year’s EuroCup playoffs.
We would have liked to include Adam Mokoka (9.3 CR) in our team, but his status is still uncertain. Instead, we’ve selected Arnoldas Kulboka (9.7 CR) as a riskier option. He typically plays for over 10 minutes, and at least he could produce a score that boosts his value.
For the second turn, we’ve chosen McKinley Wright (11 CR) and Braian Angola (12.9 CR) as our solid options, while Brynton Lemar (9.7 CR) is a player who can help from the bench if needed. We’ve also included Andrija Slacovic (4.2 CR) and Carl Wheatle (6.9 CR) to help increase our budget, but we hope we won’t need to rely on them during this round.

Good Luck to all and always remember: trust yourselves instead of some random internet website right? Have fun
