Overview

     Before diving into our team for the quarterfinals, it’s worth mentioning that we made three last-minute changes. Three players from Round 19 were marked as uncertain, so we had to make some adjustments. In short, we swapped:

  1. Blazevic ---> Brooks

  2. Angola ---> Seeley

  3. Slavkovic ---> Salvo

Blazevic and Slavkovic didn’t play, so bringing Brooks into our lineup turned out to be a smart move. Unfortunately, Seeley didn’t deliver, while Angola played for over 20 minutes and scored 18.7 points. As for Salvo, he didn’t contribute much off the bench.

So here we go:

Good Luck to all and always remember: trust yourselves instead of some random internet website right? Have fun

Coach Pick:

Looking ahead to the quarterfinals, we’re focusing on a solid strategy, starting with the coach. We don’t want to take any risks, so we’re targeting the match where we believe the biggest win potential lies. With that in mind, we’re going with Pedro Martinez (12 CR). Valencia is the clear favourite to win this year’s Eurocup, and on the other hand, U-BT Cluj-Napoca is already overachieving by making it to the final 8 for the first time in their history.

Player Picks:

Now, moving on to the centers: we’re picking one from each turn to give our team maximum flexibility. First up, we’re selecting Tai Odiase (14.2 CR) as our top choice. He plays for over 25 minutes per game and is solid on both ends of the court. Plus, Cedevita has the weakest defence against centers out of the remaining 8 teams. Our second center will be Jaime Pradilla (10.1 CR), who logs around 20 minutes per game. His team is expected to win, while he had a strong performance against the Romanian team in the regular season.

For guards, it’s hard to imagine starting anyone other than the phenomenal Jared Harper (18.6 CR). With an average of 28.96 points this tournament, he’s been unstoppable. Needless to say, we’ve made him the Captain of our team. Alongside him, we’re picking Brynton Lemar (9.7 CR). Lemar’s efficiency remains impressive, and his value seems underrated, given his average of 15.71 points over the last 10 games. From Turn 2, we’ve chosen Xabi Lopez-Arostegui (11.7 CR). He’s earned the trust of his coach and has been consistent in his last 6 Eurocup games, with a worst performance of 16.5 points.

For the forward positions, we’re making our biggest investment. First, we’re selecting Devin Robinson (14.5 CR), who has been the standout player for Cedevita this season. Next, we’ve added Nico Brussino (10.6 CR), who we believe will step up in this crucial stage—his experience will be vital for his team. Finally, we’re not making the same mistake twice by leaving Braian Angola (13.1 CR) out. We’re expecting him to be the main focal point for his team against Hapoel.

To wrap up, we’ve also selected Rok Radovic (4.0 CR) and Melih Tunca (4.0 CR) to ensure we don’t exceed our budget. Our Team has 6 players from Turn 1 and 4 from Turn 2.
