Overview
Round 28 is a bit weird in terms of game distribution between turns as we have 3 Turns, but only 1 game in T1 and then 4 games in T2 & T3 respectively. Despite that odd game distribution, this might assist in having additional flexibility as we can opt to have a different captain option on each of the 3 turns. We will be treating T1 & 2 as a block for player picks and we will maintain some flexibility with our picks for T3. Lets dive in:
T.J. Shorts (19.3 CR) will be our captain for T1 and we are looking to keep him in our roster & captains spots till the end of the season.
Kostas Sloukas (13.8). The Panathinaikos captain remained solid last week providing 19.8 CR without hitting his latest excellent levels. He appears to have fully regained his form as of late which was hindered earlier in the season due to some carryover injuries. He will probably be our T2 captain in case T.J Shorts does not deliver for us in T1.
Sasa Vezenkov (21.7 CR) will remain our main cornerstone player despite his low -for his standards- performance at Bologna last week, mainly due to the easy victory of the reds and the more expansive rotation. He will also be our fallback option for captain in T3, should our T1 and/or T2 choice falter.
For T1 & 2 we are also selecting:
Vladimir Lucic (9.4 CR) has been playing a huge role for Bayern since his return from injury and continued doing so last week with a solid performance. Still, we would encourage you to monitor his health till tip-off due to the heavy injury past of the player.
Danko Brankovic (4.5 CR) will be our backup option at the center spot as he is featuring more regularly in Bayern's lineup while Devin Booker is out with injury.
Filip Petrusev (12.2 CR). Red Star is facing Bayern which appears vulnerable in the 4 and 5 spots, while the Serbian PF's minutes and output looks to have not been affected by the return of Joel Bolomboy. Petrusev should also remain in our roster for the remaining regular season games.
Petr Cornelie (5.3 CR) is seeing some increased minutes and as a filler pick in our roster he could give us some points at a low cost.
Stefano Tonut (4.5 CR) as another filler pick has been getting some increased minutes at the guard spots given the absence of Leandro Bolmaro.
For T3 we are picking:
Teo Maledon (16.7 CR). After some mediocre showings the Frenchman is expected to bounce back against a weaker side in Maccabi. He is probably at the cheapest CR level that you might see him till the end of the year and we are looking to keep him in our roster for most remaining games.
Ross Mccormack (10.1 CR) will be a solid T3 option at an interesting price as he is regularly performing above his average price can help us increase our team value until the end of the regular season.

Coach selection:
For our coaching choice we will take a risk and we will go with coach Poupet (4 CR) with ASVEL facing a weak Maccabi in a game where both teams have no aspirations for the postseason and are expected to perform in a more stress-free way. Maccabi did surprise Ferer last week so we believe this is time for ASVEL to also score a victory after 4 looses in a row.

Player selection alternatives:
Nick Weiler Babb (11.5 CR) who has become very consistent in terms of FPT as of late, getting his points from different statistical categories and hitting double digits in PIR in his last 4/5 games.
Tyrique Jones (14 .8 CR). Probably the most reliable option at the 5 spot over the latest rounds - along with Joel Bolomboy (another excellent choice at 13.4 CR) the athletic center should be on every fantasy player's radar.
Matt Strazel (8.1 CR) who has found an increased role & minutes under coach Spanoulis (over 21min in the last 10 games), even after the latest return of important injured players like Nick Calathes and Jordan Loyd. He is still quite low-cost option compared to his minutes/output ratio.
Vincent Poirier (12.4 CR). Bologna is the one of the weakest teams (if not the weekest) in defending centers. Poirier seems to be a solid option for this round, while Efes are in a must win situation. Poirier could be a good option for next round against Bayern also and can possibly be considered as a player who will stay in the team for some rounds.
Joel Parra (4.7 CR). Barcelona faces a lot of absences and surprisingly Parra achieved a 20+ score in the last round. As his value is really low, it could be a valid bet for increasing yours team budget.
In order to stay on top of any last minute roster & team news/absences, we are using the ROTOWIRE page and their fantasy section for Euroleague basketball here. While there are probably also other resources on this, ROTOWIRE consistently provides any latest updates even with just a couple of minutes remaining before tip-off! So keep an eye and cut your losses short.
