Overview
Round 29 is a bit challenging as games are unevenly split between 6 & 3 in T1 & T2 respectively. This means that you will have less options for T2 so it's important to get solid scores in T1 and have couple of fall-back options in T2. Let's start with some thoughts on our possible base-team players:
Sasa Vezenkov (21.7 CR) will remain our cornerstone player as his numbers are not easy to ignore. He will also be our fallback option for captain in T2.
Theo Maledon (16.0 CR) was injured last game and is unlikely to play against EFES so we might need to change things around a bit. So T.J. Shorts (19.3 CR) can be our captain for T1 as we are looking to keep him in our roster & captains spots till the end of the season.
Kostas Sloukas (13.8) is also an excellent corner piece for any team and usually performs well in the Greek derby games. Given the excellent condition Kendrick Nun (17 CR) is in though, we might reconsider his spot and redistribute credits differently. Of course we cant go wrong here by selecting Nunn.

Coach selection:
For our coaching choice, after the failed risk we took last week with ASVEL’s coach Poupet (4 CR) losing to Maccabi, we will go back to our strategy of picking the ALBA opponent with coach Laso (4.2 CR).

Player selection alternatives:
Carsen Edwards (14.4 CR). The Bayern star is fresh of back-to-back amazing scoring games (29 & 30p) and looks that he will have something to say for the last stretch of the regular season.
Nick Vincent Poirier (13.1 CR). Poirier had an excellent game last week with 31.9 PIR and this week’s opponent, Bayern has issues defending the paint. It seems the French big man is getting into good form late in the season and can possibly be considered as a player who will stay in the team roster, as EFES is making a push for the playoffs / play-in games.
Nando De Colo (12.4 CR) is also a good pick expected to get increased role/minutes with Theo Maledon most probably out as we mentioned above.
Daniel THEIS (12 CR) as Maccabi has severe difficulties defending the center position and Theis seems to be the first choice of coach Spanoulis. His dominance during the previous round will boost his confidence and we except similar a performance. Even though he only joined the Euroleague very recently he might not be affordable for long.
Filip Petrusev (11.6 CR). We had to drop the Red Star forward/center just before tip-off last week as he was doubtful for the game due to illness. He eventually played a very small role in his team’s game, far away from his regular high standards. He is now at a lower price and could remain in our roster for the remaining regular season games.
Romain Sorkin (10.5 CR) is on a good streak with 5 double-digit PIR games in a row and with Rivero out is expected to keep getting increased minutes.
Matt Strazel (8.2 CR) who is still quite low-cost option compared to his minutes/output ratio.
Justin Bean (5.8 CR) has returned in Alba's rotation and plays for close to 20'/game. As his value is really low, maybe it would be an interesting bet.
Joel Parra (5.1 CR) continued his positive performances last week with 15.4 PIR and is expected to keep getting increased minutes after Barcelona announce that Nunez is ruled out till the end of the season. As his value is really low, it could be a valid bet for increasing your team budget.
In order to stay on top of any last minute roster & team news/absences, we are using the ROTOWIRE page and their fantasy section for Euroleague basketball here. While there are probably also other resources on this, ROTOWIRE consistently provides any latest updates even with just a couple of minutes remaining before tip-off! So keep an eye and cut your losses short.
For T2 we are picking:
Vladimir Lucic (10.1 CR) has been playing a huge role for Bayern since his return from injury and continued doing so last week with a solid performance. Still, we would encourage you to monitor his health till tip-off due to the heavy injury past of the player.
Danko Brankovic (4.6 CR) will be our backup option at the center spot as he is featuring more regularly in Bayern's lineup while Devin Booker is out with injury.
Dario Brizuela (7.8 CR). Laprovittola’s & Nunez’s season ending injuries, paired with Punter's absence, have left Barcelona with just Satoransky and the Spanish guard at the backcourt. He is currently on a 9-game double digit scoring streak and is expected to keep getting over 20min/game.
Vanja Marinkovic (5.1 CR) as a filler pick with the Serbian guard returning to action and looking in a pretty solid shape. Bonga's absence will also boost his minutes.
For T1 we are also selecting:
Joel Bolomboy (14.1 CR) the athletic center should be on every fantasy player's radar and seems to be back to his best.
Chima Moneke (17.6 CR) who can act as our T1 captain. Baskonia desperately needs a win to push for the playoffs / play-in games and is facing Alba Berlin.
Silvain Fransisco (13.5 CR) is expected to perform well against Paris who plays a quick and open game that fits his style.
Stefano Tonut (4.5 CR) as a filler pick has been getting some increased minutes at the guard spots lately is on a good 2 game streak - at a low budget he may give us some points to increase team value.
