In order to stay on top of any last minute roster & team news/absences, we are using the ROTOWIRE page and their fantasy section for Euroleague basketball here. While there are probably also other resources on this, ROTOWIRE consistently provides any latest updates even with just a couple of minutes remaining before tip-off! So keep an eye and cut your losses short.
Coach selection:
After some unfortunate picks over the last couple of rounds, we will get back to the all-fantasy favorite of betting against ALBA and select coach Splitter (4.4 CR).
Overview
R34 signals the regular season finale and is expected to be a tough call for picking players as on the last fixture of the Euroleague schedule we have traditionally seen some... weird results. Teams might aim for specific placement in the ranking in order to avoid certain teams during the playoffs. So pushing or not minding to loose could could lead to unexpected outcomes. We expect a bit less of that this year due to the very similar records across the board, but one can never be certain.
As of this week we have some additional content for you, so make sure you go till the end of the page!!!
Let's dive in:
Sasha Vezenkov (22.2 CR). Our cornerstone player as the player with the highest PIR in the game.
T.J. Shorts (20.5 CR) should be considered as a must as Paris is facing Alba in their season finale. He will also be our captain for T1.
Kendrick Nunn (18.9 CR) has been on fire...we wrote last week... and what an understatement that was as the star guard erupted for 37 points @Monaco!!! That was a statement performance that might edge the MVP regular season award in his favor so he will be our fall back option for T2 captain.
For T1 we are also picking:
Alec Peters (9.7 CR). The experienced PF confirmed his excellent form last week against Alba, basically leading the reds to victory with 33 points.
Moses Wright (6 CR) is expected to continue to feature in Olympiakos' rotation as both Fall and Milutinov will probably not be rushed into the rotation so fast after returning from injury.
Stefano Tonut (4.9 CR) as a filler pick with a good risk/reward ratio. The same role can be filled by Dame Sarr (4.7 CR) who has been seeing more of the court after the latest Barcelona injuries.
For T2 we are picking:
Vincent Poirier (13.8). The big Frenchman is on a good role and is expected to play a crucial role in his team's last game to try and rank as high as possible.
Filip Petrousev (12.3 CR) is expected to get big minutes and role with Bolomboy injured, his presence in most rosters is a must.
Dario Brizuela (8.4 CR) did not have a good game last week, but we will still trust him given the situation at the guards spots in Barcelona.
Joel Parra (6.2 CR) had an excellent game @Fenerbahce and remains an amazing risk / reward option as a filler pick. .
Player selection alternatives:
Walter Tavares (16.1 CR) has been sensational lately and if anyone can afford him they would probably be right to do so.
Elijah Bryant (13.6 CR). The versatile guard has been very consistent in EFES' surge over the last weeks and he should be a solid alternative for any fantasy roster, especially after Beaubois' injury.
Daniel Theis (13.4) has been extremely solid and is expected to play a big role as ASVEL appear weak in the center position.
Jarron Blossomgame (9.4 CR) is starting to justify his name as of late so we will could trust him with one of our forward positions in calculated risky move against ASVEL.
Vladimir Lucic (9.5 CR). The Bayern star SF is expected to feature heavily in his teams plans over the final stretch of the regular season and he is available in a very affordable price for his usage/role, despite the disappointing game he had last week.
Mikael Jantunen (8.9 CR) has been catching up to his early season form as of late and he could turn into a good pickup for the game against ALBA
